I love alliteration… and educating folks on the local real estate market.  So as the end of the year approaches, let’s look at how the Tompkins County Residential Real Estate market statistics looked in 2015 (ytd: Jan 1, 2015-Dec 7, 2015)  and compare that with previous years within the same time frame.

Tompkins County has enjoyed a steady incline in average sales price year over year.  The average days on market are in the 130 to 150 day range from time it hits the market to going under contract/sale pending.  And sellers on average have seen 94-97% of list price over the last 5 years.
